Project Summary:
The Springs Living at Sherwood was my first project at LRS Architects. I joined the team to help meet tight construction document deadlines. The project was a large, three-story senior living apartment building connected to an existing memory care facility.
The majority of my time on the project was spent creating and developing details. It was a very thorough drawing set, finishing with twenty-six full detail sheets. I benefitted from great mentorship with experienced architects, who guided me in creating highly developed, well thought through sets of details.
Besides detailing, I spent quite a bit of time creating custom Revit families for the project. I became experienced in creating custom families while working on school projects, and enjoyed showcasing my ability with a new group of colleagues and continuing to develop my skill.
All-in-all, this was a very detail oriented project for me, and it is exciting to see how those efforts turned out in the final construction.
